If your car comes with a hole in the dashboard
too large for an aftermarket radio, or your wiring connections are
not of the ISO-standard type, follow the links below for the fitting
adaptors you will need to fit your car radio
Why are there no connectors supplied with my new
radio?
The power and speaker connections to
a modern Kenwood radio are made by industry-standard ISO
type block connectors. As most vehicle manufacturers now
adhere to this standard, replacing factory-fitted radios
is simply a case of unplugging the existing and plugging
in the replacement radio.
For those vehicles that
do not adhere to the ISO standard for their wiring looms,
there are adaptors available to convert from the vehicle's
connections to the ISO connections required by a Kenwood
radio (to determine whether your application requires an
adaptor, follow the links above)
For other applications
such as boats and caravans, or if your connections have
been changed or damaged, ISO connectors with fly leads are
available, just
follow this link.
